Tavern “Over-Serving” Liability

Plaintiff’s Settlement over $600,000

Barokas Martin & Tomlinson litigated a personal injury claim on behalf of a driver who was struck by a drunk driver. Specifically, our firm filed a “dram-shop” action against the bar that had served the driver a large amount alcohol that contributed to his significant inebriation. Our client suffered extensive injuries.

The award our attorneys secured from the bar, as well as other defendants, allowed our client to pay for the extensive surgeries and cognitive therapy. It also adequately compensated our client for the pain and suffering that he endured because of the bar’s and drunk driver’s gross negligence.
